Once Linux installs on your computer, you would be prompted to reboot. Once you select the reboot option, you would be prompted to remove the thumb drive from your computer, and your computer will restart when you select the appropriate key. Your computer will reboot, and likely bring you to the login screen. You would enter your credentials to log in. If you followed through my suggestion, there will be no more Windows on your computer. If you are going from Windows 10 to Linux, then this will likely not be an issue.
